Why I'm voting for Obama

The NY Times said it better than I ever could:

It will be an enormous challenge just to get the nation back to where it was before Mr. Bush, to begin to mend its image in the world and to restore its self-confidence and its self-respect. Doing all of that, and leading America forward, will require strength of will, character and intellect, sober judgment and a cool, steady hand.

Mr. Obama has those qualities in abundance.

It's been a long year. Tidal waves of events in the world and in my own family have made it too easy to get lost in the wash of election/economic news and personal deliberation over fantasy football picks. So when I found Current TV again, I found the content more relevant to our time and culture than ever before. With news "pods" that are independently created, managed, and produced by people all over the world, this really is news 2.0.
